Thread: Igloo Chest Freezer question

    Default Igloo Chest Freezer question

I know that breast milk should be stored at a minimum of -4 fahrenheit however the chest freezer we just got only has a number range of 1-7 for its temperature gage and the manual is of no help.

Anyone know what the proper setting would be for the Igloo Chest Freezer FRF520? Thank you!

Hi, I unfortunately have no idea, but my best suggestion would be to purchase an appliance thermometer (you can get them at regular stores I think) and stick it in there to figure out the temperature compared to the setting. I have one in our fridge because it has a range like you are talking about, and that helps me know when to fiddle with the temp settings.
