Hot soapy water (medela soap) and a bottle brush just isn't cutting it. Any tips on how to get the fat off pump parts and bottles? Also, I'm constantly having to replace the membranes because those are getting clogged too.

    Boiling water?

Whenever soaking didn't get the residue off of the parts, I boiled mine, and that seemed to do the trick.
Apologies for the short responses! I'm usually responding one-handed on my smartphone!

The only way I can clean my parts, including regular feeding bottles, is to smear dishwashing liquid over the entire surface and then rinse with water. Simply squirting a droplet of dishwashing liquid into the cup and then rinsing it does not do the trick. Boiling helps but I can't boil them every day, practically speaking. Also, boiling leaves a chalky white dusty coating on everything when I let it dry. Which I anyway have to wash out.

Thanks all. I ended up soaking them in diluted white vinegar solution.
