My DD always loved to nurse (we recently weaned). It was hard as she grew into toddlerhood, because any little stress would trigger her to scream for my breasts. I share my experience in my book, it is a quick read, in case you would like. You can borrow it for free on Amazon if you have Prime membership. It is called "Weaning my Toddler" by Luciana Lambert. I will say this: toddlers are not sure if they are still babies or not. In a way, it reassures them when they nurse. The trick is to find other ways of reassuring your toddler when he/she is not nursing (hug, kiss, pick her up, without nursing right away). Good Luck!
