    Default sour milk

if the breast pads I'm using smell sour, does that mean my milk is also sour? I feel like I'm giving my baby sour milk.

Hi and welcome! The answer is no. it means, change (or wash, if they are not disposable) your pads. There is no possible way the milk coming from your breasts is sour.

with LLLMeg. If you have any doubt, taste your breastmilk- you'll find that when it's fresh from the breast, it's fresh!

i find that my breast pads need changing once you've had a letdown. i tend to only wear them when out and about. at home i don't bother, as i am prone to getting thrush and having pads in my bra keeps everything moist which is perfect for the thrush bacteria to thrive.
