It is weird! Does he get a nightly bath? Maybe he's peeing when he's in the tub?

If it weren't for the low pee diaper output, I'd be pretty much completely unconcerned because everything else looks completely normal. But given that diaper output is low, what would you say to seeing a lactation consultant, preferably an IBCLC? See if she can tease out what's going on with supply and help you get a sense of how much your baby takes at the breast?
Coolest thing my big girl said recently: "How can you tell the world is moving when you are standing on it?"
Coolest thing my little girl sang recently: "I love dat one-two pupples!"

I have an LC. She's an IBCLC who works at our ped's office. She was concerned when I emailed her and that's why we went in. I emailed her afterwards and she said she hopes the supplementing and solids will help and that was that!

There's a really awesome woman (another ibclc) at the birth center... Maybe I'll email her.

I wonder if he just pees less than other babies? I changed him not long before bath time tonight and took his diaper off maybe an hour later- before he got in... It smelled like pee so I know he went but it was so light and dry. Could he just be... I don't know, a light pee-er? Only a little at a time?

There are other signs of dehydration: http://www.askdrsears.com/topics/hea...es/dehydration

If your baby is basically living on breastmilk and growing, even if growing on the slower side, I do not see how baby could be dehydrated.

I suggest the book My Child Won't Eat! By Carlos Gonzalez. This is not a book about how to make your child eat more. It's about what is normal in terms of growth and food intake.

I'm going to see if the library has that book.

I think my supply just took a huge hit due to my period. That wouldn't account for the larger drop, but maybe it's a combination of becoming mobile and that. I'm not sure how to prepare to have pretty much no supply one week a month though.
