Default back to work tomorrow no fridge-

There is no fridge yet at work, but supposed to arrive any day now, and it's too late to buy a cooler bag etc. Should I be ok storing it at room temp til I get home? Earliest pumping session probably will be at 11. be home I think around 4 or 5. Just need to hear from someone else that it's ok, as I think it is? OH, and Can I put it in the freezer when I get home? I don't think I'll need it for awhile as my baby will be coming with me next time.

IIRC, freshly expressed breastmilk is okay at room temperature for 4-8 hours. Kellymom has the exact guidelines: http://kellymom.com/bf/pumpingmoms/m...e/milkstorage/

Can you bring a ziploc bag of ice to work, and stash the milk in it?
Coolest thing my big girl said recently: "How can you tell the world is moving when you are standing on it?"
Coolest thing my little girl sang recently: "I love dat one-two pupples!"

I would put it on ice, even if not in a cooler. The colder you can store it the better. Where do you live? If you are in a cold climate your car might be almost as cool as a fridge as long as you aren't parked in the sun.

It was so darn cold in the office (non traditional space) so although i was freezing it made me happy to know the milk was ok!
