    Default Sour milk smell

The past few days my 5 month old has had this awful sour milk smell on his breath after being asleep. I've never noticed anything like this before now. Very strong, stinky odor! What's going on?

Does he have a cold? That can cause stinky breath.

Alternately, have you checked his neck creases recently? Sometimes milk will get in there and fester.

No cold...this was definitely coming from his mouth. Even when he spits up during sleep and it matts up his hair it never smells quite like this

After further investigation and another stinky wake up I think it was coming from his neck!
