My DS is 6 weeks old and EBF. When I was nursing DD I had excess lipase & had to scald any milk that I froze or that she didn't drink within 48 hrs of pumping. Huge pain, as many of you know
My question with my DS is should I figure that I will have excess lipase in my milk again since I did before? I had not pumped at all for DS until today. I have 1oz in the fridge to keep an eye on & see if it changes at all, but I scalded the rest b/c I want to freeze it & definitely don't want it turning gross in the freezer. I'm sure I'll be able to tell from the ounce I set aside if its lipase again... just wondering what other moms' experiences are with this...
