Default I need to have surgery but having trouble pumping????

So I need to have my gallbladder removed. I've been having some pretty bad attacks. I've been holding off because I don't get anything really when I pump. So how am I suppose to pump out my milk the first 24 hrs to get out the anesthesia medicine?? Anyone else had an issue like this???

Luckily you almost surely do NOT need to do that. Certainly not for regular general anesthesia, it is ok to nurse baby once you are awake.
