Letting go of a certain nursing session w/ 15mth old
My daughter is now 15 mths and since she turned a year we are down to 3 nursing sessions per day during the week (morning, after work, & bedtime) and 3-4 on the weekend (morning, nap, early evening, bedtime). Lately she doesn't really seem interested in the after work session during the week or when I offer at this same time on the weekends. She nurses for a few minutes and then wants down. I try to get her to nurse for a few minutes on the other side just to give that side some attention too but she only nurses a few minutes and then wants down. Is it just time for us to give up this session too now? I don't want to feel like I'm forcing her to if she isn't interested. She is fine with her morning and bedtime sessions and does sleep through the night. If she does wake in the middle of the night on occasion she will go back if I nurse her but this doesn't happen very often anymore.

No harm in offering. If she wants it, she'll nurse, if she doesn't, she doesn't. And some days she may want to, other days not. My LO also sometimes skips the after-work nursing sessionif her siblings are running around and exciting her. Other days she wants it.
