Hi ladies. Next weekend my husband and I have tickets to attend a 3 day music festival (here in our city). Hooray for grandmom's babysitting service! Really really excited. I'm hoping to get away with no pumping. Let me reality check this with you?
On a typical workday, the longest stretch between nursing is from around 7am (when my son wakes up) and then 5:30pm (when we get home from daycare pickup). I do feel a bit full by 5:30, but not too uncomfortable. I'm not pumping at work anymore. My son does the majority of his nursing overnight (7pm-7am).
For the festival, our separations will be a smidge longer, but also over a later chunk of the day. We'll probably leave the house around 12 noon every day, and be home around 11:00-11:30pm.
Don't really want to bring the little hand pump if I don't have to ... plus I'm not sure where I would find a place to use it at an outdoor festival with 60k people :P I'm assuming I'll be fine. Is there any reason to think otherwise?
ETA: I realized after I posted this I put it in the wrong place. Meant to go in Pumping forum, put it in BF Toddlers by accident ... if an admin wants to move it that's fine with me.
