    Question Perscriptions while nursing

I suffer from psoriatic arthritis and with my second child it has gotten worse. When I wasn't nursing or pregnant I took Humira, which pretty much cured it. I have a 5 month old daughter who strictly gets breastmilk and I would like to continue to nurse her for the first year. However my arthritis is getting worse day by day. Do you know of a perscription that is safe to take while nursing? Or is there a way to find out if Humira would be ok? My rheumatologist thought it would be fine but there is no definite study on nursing mothers using the drug. I am at a loss here... I want my daughter to get the very best but I also don't want to be in pain everyday TYIA

For questions about medications, I suggest contacting Infant Risk: http://www.infantrisk.com/. They can give you an informed answer about particular meds, maybe even suggest safe alternatives.
Coolest thing my big girl said recently: "How can you tell the world is moving when you are standing on it?"
Coolest thing my little girl sang recently: "I love dat one-two pupples!"
