Default Need to Wean Before Trip?

I'm slowly weaning my DS who just turned 2. We just dropped his nap time nursing session, so he's only nursing at bedtime and in the morning. I'm going to be gone overnight in a few weeks and will miss those 2 nursing sessions. I'm not in a huge rush to wean him now, so I'm wondering if I might be able to miss those sessions without becoming engorged. I've missed bedtime a few times and we've done both done okay, but I'm not sure about missing both sessions.

If its just one night I would think your supply would be robust enough at this point to handle missing the two feeds and don't think you would get overly engorged, probably wouldn't hurt to bring a pump just in case though!

Yeah, not willing to bring the pump. I'm DONE with that thing! I'm not worried about supply either, I just don't want to be uncomfortable.

Are you able to hand-express, just in case the fullness becomes troublesome? Not that I think it's likely.

I've never been able to hand express, but I think I'll be okay. He didn't nurse on one side in the morning last week and I wasn't hurting by nighttime. Woohoo!
