    Default Weaning issues

I breast feed my baby girl for 16 months and she weaned herself in one day. But now I still have white milk. This has continued for 12 months. When will I dry up? i also have sore nipples from having milk, Any advice?

    Welcome to the forum!

It is not uncommon for women to continue to produce a small amount of milk for weeks, months, or sometimes even years after weaning. Are you removing any milk, by pumping or hand expression? That would perpetuate production. And how much milk are you producing at this point- a few drops, or significantly more than that?

Having milk shouldn't cause you to feel sore. Ay chance of this being thrush? If not, how about pregnancy?
Coolest thing my big girl said recently: "How can you tell the world is moving when you are standing on it?"
Coolest thing my little girl sang recently: "I love dat one-two pupples!"
