    Default boobs feeling engorged

My son is now 16 months and we still nurse on demand. I have noticed in the last month and half my breasts feeling engorged even leaking though out the day. At first I wrote it off because we had just moved so he started nursing more along with teething. I figured it would have fixed it self by now since he has gotten back to his normal demands that are before and after meals before and after naps and any time we have a boo boo. Is it normal to feel engorged all most and leak this late in the game ?

It's odd, in my experience. Did you have oversupply when your LO was small?

I had a huge over supply I could pump 9 oz from each breast with just 5 min of pumping after feeding him. It didn't take me long to get a good amount saved for the what ifs in life and than I found out my friend had issues nursing her son who was only a few weeks older than mine so I shared with her until I got sick and had my tonsils out. About that time she decided to stop giving her son breast milk because her dr was pushing for her to start solids at 4 months and to stop giving him breast milk saying formula was better. My supply quickly adjusted after I stopped with pumping. I only felt this way the first 3 weeks after I had my son. I didn't even feel this way once I stopped pumping I didn't even leak after. Now a hour after nursing I feel like I need to nurse again they feel so full and any amount of pressure causing them to leak. Heck I nursed not even 20 mins ago and my breasts all ready feel full and like they are wanting to explode if I don't nurse. I don't know whats going on and its starting to stress me out.

Okay, since you had a huge oversupply to begin with, perhaps what is going on is that you just happen to have an unusually sensitive supply. Lots of nursing and bam! Your body goes into overdrive.
