My toddler gets a cold whenever I get my period
Hi!
I still nurse my almost 17 month old toddler 3 times a day. My period came back 9 months ago. Since then, I've noticed that my toddler systematically gets a cold when I get my period! (Two annoyances at the same time!)
Has anyone else experienced this? Does my milk have less antibodies during my period?
Thanks!

Welcome to the forum!
Your milk isn't antibody-deficient during your period. I'd chalk this up to a weird coincidence. And remember, your baby didn't pick up the cold during your period- exposure generally predates symptoms by a few days, sometimes as much as a week or two.
