Default Boosting supply in one breast

Hi there, it seems I have accidentally allowed the supply to drop in my right breast. Just wondering what I can do to boost the supply. Dd is 5 months now and has always preferred the left. Is it even possible to boost supply at this point? Thanks!

It is always possible to boost supply in one or both breasts. What you want to do is to increase stimulation to and milk removal from the underperforming breast. You can do this by offering the underachiever more frequently, or starting every nursing session on that side, or by pumping that side in addition to nursing.

Having some degree of supply difference between breasts is normal, and is really only problematic if you're seeing marked lopsidedness.
