Default Taking antibiotics and preventing thrush

    Hi all,
My 10month old DD has been running high fever from yesterday and doctor declared it as a infection and prescribed us to take a course of antibiotics.I'm wondering in what frequency probitocs has to be taken so she will not get thrush.
We already fought with thrush till DD was 4 months.

    Thanks
    Mangai

Sorry to hear your baby has a high fever. I hope she recovers very soon!

This non-LLL Q&A on preventing thrush gives an excellent run-down of questions about probiotics etc.:

I have also heard of getting liquid acidophilis at a health food store and "painting" your nipples with it right before you nurse.

I take an acidophilis supplement myself which seemed to help dd's gas problem tremendously!
