    It may sound weird but you can also try applying plain yogurt(without sugar like those greek kinds before you mix the fruit in from the separate container) and apply it to the nipple. My regular doctor suggested this and mentioned that she did it herself to relieve the discomfort. She only left it on for 10 minutes or so before wiping it off and then applying lanolin between feedings (she did say she left it on longer a few times even longer, but made sure to wipe it off before feedings). She also said to consume the yogurts that have no or very little sugars to help fight off the bad bacteria. Decreasing sugar intake can help balance your system when thrush is present. Hope things continue to get better for you!
