    Default Spits up often

    Hi there

My 4 week old son has been EBF since birth He really enjoys nursing as well as comfort sucking. But subsequently often spits up.... Is he taking in too much? should I be limiting his comfort sucking?

    Any advice would be welcomed

    Thanks

If baby doesn't seem to be in any discomfort from the spit up, it's perfectly normal and not an issue. It's just his body learning what to do, how to digest, how to regulate intake, etc. I would definitely not limit any kind of nursing, since at this point it is all nutritional or supply/demand related.

Totally normal. I suggest, invest in cheap cloth burp rags. Cloth diapers-the non prefold kind-work great.
