Thread: white tissue at nipple

    Default white tissue at nipple

i am having an issue which i think resulted frm pumping on too high a setting. i noticed that only on one nipple there is a whitish / yellow substance (skin? milk? not sure) in the cracks of my nipple. i have not been able to remove it from washing / wiping the skin. i was wondering if anyone else had experienced this and had suggestions on how to treat? i don't believe it's thrush -- i have no other symptoms (nor does my son). i also don't believe it is a bleb, it is bigger than simply a whitehead on the nipple, and it doesn't seem to be blocking milk flow. any thoughts would be greatly appreciated! thank you!

    Does it hurt?
Coolest thing my big girl said recently: "How can you tell the world is moving when you are standing on it?"
Coolest thing my little girl sang recently: "I love dat one-two pupples!"
