Thread: 3 mo very fidgety and fussy during feedings. Suggestions?

Default 3 mo very fidgety and fussy during feedings. Suggestions?

He pulls, kicks and turns his head while latched on, sometimes he cries. I've tried removing and repositioning doesn't help. Not sure why he's doing this, thought maybe gas. Appears to becoming more frequent, not relived after burping him. Any suggestions?

My first thought is teething/pre-teething. Is he giving you signs like increased drooling, gnawing on his hands, maybe pulling his ears?

Ear infections can also sometimes cause fussy-at-the-breast behavior.
Coolest thing my big girl said recently: "How can you tell the world is moving when you are standing on it?"
Coolest thing my little girl sang recently: "I love dat one-two pupples!"

I should add that LO doesn't cry or fuss, just turns his head, scratches at his head a little and re-latches. This happens more in the beginning and then tapers off.
