My daughter is 13+ months old and I'd like to stop pumping while at work. She eats solids well and we nurse whenever we are together (weekends and co-sleep at night).
However, I haven't been able to drop that last pumping session for 3 weeks now. I try to gradually push the time I pump later and later in the day, and by Friday it seems like I can be pump free (I get it down to 4:30 pm or so). Then I get to work on Monday after a weekend of unlimited nursing and I'm bursting with milk by 2pm. I've had lots of plugged ducts before, so I'm afraid to let my breasts get too engorged.
This has been going on for a few weeks now and I'm frustrated: I've been hoping to "hang up the horns" a month ago.
Any advice would be appreciated!
