Mama, if he's taking 9 ounces in one sitting, your problem is not that you're not getting enough. It's that he's being drastically overfed. Your baby, at 2 months, shouldn't be eating more than 2-3 oz at a time. Most breastfed babies never take more than 4 ounces max, even at a year old or more. The general rule is 1-1.5 ounces for every hour you are away.

Are your caregivers in the infant class familiar with caring for breastfed babies? Here's a great resource to share with them about how to bottle feed a breastfed baby. Maybe that will help them learn ways to feed less.
