I work full time so both of my children were always on a 3 hour schedule which I know is not recommended for breast feeding, but it worked for us. Anyway my daughter 3mo nurses when I am home on the weekend every three to four hours and stays about fifteen to twenty minutes on each breast sometimes longer. During the week, she takes a 4oz bottle every 3 hours while at school and then I nurse her in the evenings. Usually are evening feedings are about 2-2.5 hours apart. She sleeps anywhere from 5-10 hours at night. She does not nurse at night not because I don't want her to, she takes two sucks and goes back to sleep, so I stopped offering. I she does wake I rock her a few minutes and she goes back to sleep. Normal is a huge range as every one else said, and what works for one baby might not work for the other. Take your cues from your baby.
