Default 1 year and sippy cup?

My DD will turn a year old on Friday. I just got her a sippy cup with a straw this week. She was begging and crying for drinks out of a cup. I have only given her water. We are still bfing 5-6 times a day, sometimes more. She just comes and pulls my shirt down when she needs to nurse. At this age is she now needing to have water and not just Bmilk? Sometimes she just seems thirsty but when she nurses it's like it's just not enough to quench her thirst.

At a year of age, you should be offering water in a sippy, but nursing alone is quite likely to still be enough to meet your baby's needs for liquid, provided you nurse on demand.
Coolest thing my big girl said recently: "How can you tell the world is moving when you are standing on it?"
Coolest thing my little girl sang recently: "I love dat one-two pupples!"
