your LC is right, 2 oz in a pump is normal. you can't judge supply by pumping, only by watching the breastfed baby (pooping and peeing enough, meeting milestones, content, etc). many women have to pump more times than their babies eat to make the same amount of milk; they do this by adding in an extra at work, or at night, or early in the morning when supply tends to be highest.
that's one reason why pumping is so hard, and moms here will warn people against EP! it never gets easier - in fact, it gets harder - and breastfeeding gets easier.
