    Default Thrush question???

Will having thrush on your nipples cause the baby to NOT want to eat? I'm not even sure if I have thrush, I am going to the Dr today to find out, but I'm pretty sure it's thrush. Lately my 10 week old seems to hate eating off the boob. She's not latching properly and keeps making a clicking with her tounge like she just cant get it around the nipple. My nipples burn and itch a little, which is why I think it's thrush.

I believe thrush does sometimes make it hard for a baby to nurse, usually because they have thrush in their mouth and it hurts.

Kellymom has a page on other possible causes of clicking.

Did you go to the doctor? What did you find out?
