It's so hard to stay away from fruits since they are great snacks. I feel like whole grain foods are the only safe foods. I just want the white in her mouth to go away

What does your baby's doctor recommend you do? is your baby sick/uncomfortable?
I did not alter my LO's diet when we had thrush.

What about raw veggies? Cucumber spears, Sugar snap peas, Bellpeppers, carrots?

Doc didn't say anything about foods, but my midwife suggested we keep away from dairy, wheat and sugar, which of course is almost in everything. I'm thin to begin with so I feel like I've lost weight this week. Will try more raw veggies. Esthervegan....from your name is looks like you didn't have to omit anything

Truth be known, back when ds4 was still nursing and we suffered with thrush, I was not yet a vegan.

I never changed my daughter's diet when she was a toddler with thrush (around 18 months old or so). She wasn't eating many solids. It's true that sugars can fuel the yeast growth. However, I found that using the candida protocol effectively treated thrush. The GSE and probiotics were especially critical plus cleaning everything.

I would probably just feed them lots of yogurt? And less refined sugar. I probably would not make massive dietary changes, just the GSE plus probiotics.
