Domperidone and missing period

I quit taking domperidone a few weeks ago and here I am on day 36 of my cycle and still no period. I only took dom for less than a month, so I'm wondering if it's the dom making me miss my period or if something else is going on.

My cycles are normally like a clock, every 25 days. I started taking dom on day 10 of my last cycle and ended up having my period early, on day 18.

Has anyone else had similar experiences with dom and their period?

I took a pregnancy teset and it was negative, but I had a lot of false negatives with our lastest.

I've done a crazy amount of searches online to find the answer and haven't come up with anything remotely close to this.

I'd greatly appreciate any help you can give.

Get your thyroid checked. One common symptom is absent cycles or cycles which are shorter or longer than normal.

So the dom can cause thyroid issues? My periods have ALWAYS been normal until I started and stopped the domperidone. I'd go to the doctor if I had the funds, but I can't right now.

No, the Domperidone would have nothing to do with any hypothetical thyroid or other fertility issue. But since your primary symptom is absent menses, and you're not pregnant, you should probably at least talk to your doc or midwife. Mine said to wait 10 days after a missed period, then test again, and then come in if my period was still MIA.
