This is probably a question for the pediatrician. Since you're supplementing with formula, your baby's vitamin D needs may be being met by that, which would mean you wouldn't need an additional vitamin supplement. And even if they're not, it's summertime in the northern hemisphere, so if you and your baby are light-skinned, living in the northern hemisphere, and are getting at least 15 minutes per day of sunlight without sunblock, then you're probably making plenty of vitamin D just thanks to the sun.
Can I ask why you're supplementing? Is that something you want to be doing, or not? If not, maybe we can help you get the supplement out of your life.
