    Default nursing to sleep

hi everyone. my 11 month old DS has fallen into a habit of nursing to sleep. And he is yet unable to soothe himself to sleep if he wakes up in the night. How can I teach him to do this? Is it already late to teach him this? I have read about having someone else trying to put him to bed etc, but there's no one with us to do that. Any more ideas which do not require a third person? :P

It will be OK. I nursed my third to sleep for about 2 years...but he can go to sleep alone without nursing don't sweat it.
