Thread: Back to breast after bottles

Default Back to breast after bottles

My LO is 2 weeks old tomorrow. She's only had bottles of expressed breast milk because of my large nipples and her inability to latch. I'm trying to get her back to breast, but it is very slow going. She cries anytime I try to nurse her. She won't even try to suck, even when I have a good milk flow going. How many times a day should I try to get her to latch on? And how long should I try at each session? And should I switch from bottles to finger feeding w/a syringe? The bottles I have now flow very quickly. Is there a better brand for slow flows?
