    Default Borrowed Pump

    Hi,

My friend gave me her manual pump but I'm hesitant to use it because I read we shouldn't share pumps.

    Is this correct? Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

A manual freaks me out way less than an electric honestly. You can break it down and put it through a sterilizer or boil it. You cannNOT sterilize the inside of an electric pump without destroying it.

That rule does not apply to manual pumps that can be broken down and sterilized. You shouldn't share electric pumps.
