Thread: Feeding frequency question for three month old

Default Feeding frequency question for three month old

My son is EBF. He was 6 lb. 7 oz. at birth and is over 13 pounds at twelve weeks. Since he's sleeping longer at night, I find myself waking him from his naps to get eight feedings a day in. Is it okay if he has only seven on some days at this point and I let him sleep? Though I try to put him down when I see he's sleepy, we're only between thirteen and fourteen hours a day. Thanks!

At this point if you feed on demand, if he has enough wet/poop diapers and his growth is ok, I would stop waking to feed and go with his flow!
