    how do you thaw it out and how soon do you have to use it after thawing it?

    thaw in the refrigerator, and all guidelines say to use within 24 hours. in practice in my family we could stretch that a little bit, but it never re-heated (for a 2nd feed) without spoiling. it'll be obvious when it's spoiled.
    DS 6/7/11 - Still night & morning nursing, but the rest of the time he just doesn't have time for me! After mostly working at home, gleefully packed away the pump at 11 months.

    Another on the way in October 2013!

    I thaw under running warm to hot water. I prefer to thaw in the fridge, but I forget

    you can also use cool water - that way you won't kill any of the goodness. thaw in refrigerator is the best.
