Default Dump out all frozen breast milk :(

I'm just gutted..........My milk has exessive Lipase and my son is refusing it. Offcourse I did not know this while I was pumping for 2 months. I have a ton of frozen breast milk that I have to dispose of simply because the taste bothers my son. I smelled and tasted it.....very soapy and rancid. Sucks!!! Just wanted to vent, that's all. Thank you. By the way, he's 13 months old now and we are still nursing

You can bake with it. You can try mixing fresh milk with it. Some children will take it if it is mixed with fresh.

Don't dump! Use it for baking, mix with fresh. Donate.

You can also scald the milk first I've read. Then when cooled it should be fine.

Well crap. I just figured this out as well about the same time and it is part of the reason I haven't been on in so long. Scalding is the pits. Anyways, now I wish I had checked in I didn't even think about mixing it or baking. Ugh. I completely felt the same way though and just cried and cried. Stupid lipase!
