I was wondering how often you're suppose to replace your Medela pump parts if you pump daily?

I switched mine out every couple of weeks, but I was pumping 6-8 times a day. If you are the typical working mom, you might find its Ok to change them every month.

Confession: I pumped for probably 8-9 months in total, 2 to 3 times a day (went back to work at 6 weeks but had 2 months off during the summer) and I replaced my membranes once. Nothing else got replaced except for the valve that got misplaced.

I replace my membranes every 2-3 months but I rotate 2 sets so if I had 1 I would do every 4-6 weeks. I do notice a difference when I change them, plus they are rather inexpensive so it is worth it to me.

The only thing I've replaced so far is membranes - what else are you supposed to replace regularly? Seriously, I am *that* clueless, haha
Membranes.
If your valves are worn, those.
And it depends...some brands have parts that last and last. My Limerick only seems to need a filter change if milk gets in it.No membranes, etc, to change.
