I am having trouble finding time to pump so I can leave my DS three days a week for six hours. I never seem to produce enough. How can I make it all work?

Hi!
Are you leaving DS to work? Do you drive? You can pump in the car to/from.
Is there a place at work you can pump?
How old is your little one?
Full time working Mom to 3, DH is my hero as a SAHD:
DS July'09, nursed for 12 weeks
DD1 & DD2 April'11, tandem nursed for 16 months![]()
Nurse and pump at the same time.
Pick one time of day and pump. Even if you don't get anything, eventually your body will make some milk at that time.
One to 1.5 oz per hour of separation...so it's not all that much.
I worked very PT with my second and third child during the week, and I pumped a bit a couple times a day, and I would get enough pretty rapidly.

When I was trying to build a stockpile in preparation for going back to work, I would pump right after I nursed. It helped when it was around nap time because baby would fall asleep and leave me time to pump. I'd also sometimes pump while nursing since I only nurse on one side per feeding.
Good luck!
Never thought of doing both at the same time! Thanks.
