Re: Consistantly green poop
First of all:
Bloody stools can keep you up at night, worrying. But my pediatrician told me that in an otherwise healthy, happy, growing baby, green poops and intermittent bloody streaks/specks are not a real health problem. They're something to keep an eye on, but not something to freak out about or to wean over.
My doc also told me that proctitis- which apparently in infants is often a mild expression of food protein intolerance- peaks right around 3-6 months. I definitely remember seeing more bloody stools right at the 5 month mark, but they were gone by 1 year.
Coolest thing my big girl said recently: "How can you tell the world is moving when you are standing on it?"
Coolest thing my little girl sang recently: "I love dat one-two pupples!"
