Re: Pumping/Nursing Problems
If you could see me in real life, you would see me literally doing this:
Sounds like hospital #2 may not be the most breastfeeding-friendly place. Ayone who has taken the Pepsi challenge will tell you that breastmilk tastes way better than formula. There are many reasons why your baby may have taken the formula more easily than your milk- maybe she was intrigued by the new taste, maybe the person offering the bottle felt more comfortable with formula than with expressed milk and baby picked up on that, maybe some other variable changed in between bottle of breastmilk and bottle of formula- but I dare anyone to tell you with certainty that a teeny-tiny baby could a) prefer formula and b) make that preference obvious to the caregiver in just one session.
And even if your baby really did like formula... So what? My older kid loves marshmallows. Doesn't mean they're better for her than the balanced meal I served her yesterday (though she may disagree).
Coolest thing my big girl said recently: "How can you tell the world is moving when you are standing on it?"
Coolest thing my little girl sang recently: "I love dat one-two pupples!"
