Exclamation 4 month bf.....is it normal? what can i do?

Is it normal for baby to bury head in breast, seems almost suffocating self and then throwing head back, yanking on nipple and gasping for air? Should I try to change or correct this behavior?

Is baby upset by this? Does it hurt you? If not, call it a quirk. It will probably go away in time.
Coolest thing my big girl said recently: "How can you tell the world is moving when you are standing on it?"
Coolest thing my little girl sang recently: "I love dat one-two pupples!"

This reminds me of something from the new (2010) The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding about the "four month fussies" and the observation that at around four months many babies start to nurse "weird." In that case, it's just sort of a temporary thing.

Maybe trying some different nursing positions may help?
