Mid-Evil Torture Device!!

Ladies for some reason today my pump feels like a mid-evil torture device.

Can the size of flange needed change?

Any other thoughts on what might be making me so uncomfortable?

I have had to change horn sizes over the past 7 months of pumping. I went right to a 30mm, and now am down to a 27. For a period I was using a 27 on my left and 30 on my right. Oh and lansinoh and medela sizes are different (used a 28.5 on lansinoh) to make it even more interesting.
I had pain and one time bleeding pumping on my right, I went up a size and also put lanolin on the horn. It felt 'good' (as good as pumping can feel that is) that I am using lanolin on both horns every time.

yes both of opinions items are likely!!!

third suggestion if 1 and 2 don't resolve the pain: is there any chance you might be pregnant?

Oh god I hope I am not pregnant. I have a mirena so that would be unlikely. No period and no clue on ovulation. I am going to start with horns and go from there.

Ladies you have successfully scared me and I want to go buy a pregnancy test now. I can not imagine being PG with a 6 month old that truly would be torture.

Yes I also have some discomfort while nursing. Nothing like while pumping but not normal.

When I started getting my cycle back nursing hurt around ovulation time. That was long after I stopped pumping though. Does it feel any better today?

It is not much better but I forgot about my husband needing to work on my car so I could not go get the new shields yesterday. I am going to go after I pick up DS today.

I hope I am not getting my cycle, I had the Mirena before for like 3 years and never had a cycle then. I don't have any of my classic symptoms for a cycle either though.
