We night weaned at 27 months because it was painful for me to nurse while pregnant. Before that she was down to 2-3 times on her own around 24 mos, but 12-18 mos she'd nurse 6-8x/night or more.

Mom to my DS, born on 6/24/11. Born on the same day and at the same hospital as DH.
Mom to my DD, born on 8/14/13.
Some will hate me and some will pity my choices, but here is the truth:
DS sleeps through the night (starting at 4months ~10pm-6am, now 8pm-8am at 32 months). He was breastfed for 6 weeks, I pumped for another 6 weeks, then formula fed. We moved him to a crib in his room around 8-12 weeks, and did CIO (took 2 nights). He is now 32lbs.
DD1/DD2 sleep through the night, starting at 5-6 months. They get 75% BM, 25% formula. Formula before bed. Shared a crib for first 4 months, then separated since in their own room. Did minimal CIO with DD2, who would wake around 5am, to push that back to 6am when I get up to nurse both. DD1 was sleeping well at 8weeks. I think the girls were around 14-16lb at 4 months, and now are somewhere between 18-20lb.
Full time working Mom to 3, DH is my hero as a SAHD:
DS July'09, nursed for 12 weeks
DD1 & DD2 April'11, tandem nursed for 16 months![]()
16 months, >22 lbs (not certain about an exact weight, however he's a shortie so he's fairly heavy w.r.t. height), nursing 2-3 times overnight. His last molar is making it's final push through though. We were down to 1, sometimes 2, feedings overnight at 14 months. He woke every two hours through his first year, although he did sleep pretty well overnight the first couple weeks.
Beatrix is 14 months old, 20ish pounds is my guess and wakes anywhere from every 2 to 3 hours, usually. We cosleep so it's usually not a problem. She's in bed, asleep, from about 7:45 pm until 6:30 or 7:30 am, with the wakings to nurse in between. She had an ear infection once and was waking up every 45 minutes and wouldn't be nursed to sleep but had to be walked around the house. That was rough.
My first baby slept much worse than this. I coslept with her until she was 2 and she goes to sleep on her own, in her own room, and has since she was 2 without problems, usually and wakes maybe once when she's thirsty or has to pee. We didn't do cry it out and she is on par with her peers, sleepwise, even the ones that I know that did CIO.![]()
