I know, right?! There are plenty of women in our height bracket, but not too many 6'9" dudes. When my DH went to China he said he got a lot of people just... staring. Like "Whoa, is that guy a friend of Yao Ming's or something?"
Coolest thing my big girl said recently: "How can you tell the world is moving when you are standing on it?"
Coolest thing my little girl sang recently: "I love dat one-two pupples!"

Last paragraph in first post summary she is now 12lbs 11oz and 7.5 months old. Doc is still unhappy with her weight. We go weekly now for checks.

Oops, I missed that. Sorry. I don't usually read the OP for threads I posted in.

I'm not a doctor, but I will say that my daughter was 15 lbs at a year. My son is only 21 at 18 months. My babies are long and lean. I think that if developmentally she is fine and doesn't have any health issues, why the big deal in weight gain? She's gaining and growing but not at any great speed. Both of my children are perfectly healthy. Extremely smart (both have had extensive evaluations). I think it's just their physique. Again, I'm not a doctor but maybe read the child and not the charts
