I have been so MIA lately ladies..

Susan sorry about the milk and the bite.

mskalinin: I would not mind that smoothie recipe. I am having a hard time eating oatmeal like I should lately. I am keeping up with the dude but not getting any extra. I am trying to get a few ounces a day in the freezer, my cousin is due in like a month with her 1st LO she has had a breast reduction and is worried about how that will affect her supply. I have offered her some of my stash.

I am still fighting this cold/flu going on like 10 days of it now, Wyatt also has his first ear infection so between me and him I am not getting much sleep. He is better today than he has been and slept a little better. Hopefully we can get in some stellar naps this weekend.

Happy Friday ladies, hope you all enjoy your weekends.

It's a yucky day at work. Pumping is a good break

Thanks, Susan! I know you'd have some perspective on this!

For now I'm setting the "first 2 weeks" of May as my cut off, but it wouldn't surprise me if I go 'til June... 2 times a day just sounds so easy right now!

2 times a day has been pretty easy. I kind of feel like I could do that for another year even. Every morning when I get up and then at 10 pm. I get 12-16 oz that way, probably just like a mom of a toddler.

I am going out of town alone end of the month. And that is one thing about being a pumping mom...it's easier to leave my family Gav can either have whole milk while I'm gone or DH can thaw some of the freezer milk; I'll leave some that hasn't been lipase attacked.

Speaking of lipase, I smelled some I had left out after Gav didn't finish his AM bottle yesterday; I forgot it on the nightstand. It stank like vomit it was 3/4 fresh and 1/4 freezer milk. He had drunk about 2/3 of it.

I would love the recipe. The shredded oats are very good and also are healthy (more so than oatmeal because I have to put sugar and butter in it to eat it). Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Pumping went much better at the end of the week but I am still going to pump over the weekend for a cushion. Our sitter is moving out of state and the kids wil be going to DC. My lunch falls at the same time as they do nap time there so I am not sure if I am going to be able to go nurse at lunch. DCP said we would work it out but I am afraid me being there at nap time will cause a problem with my 3yo. Guess we wil have to see how things go next week.

I was really hoping 2x a day would be OK. But I've noticed my AM pump is slowly diminishing. I'm struggling to get 6. I need 8. I started taking fenugreek and blessed thistle. I have to add that third session back like I mentioned a few days ago. I guess I should pump on the way to the barn

Elizabeth, that is a bummer about maybe not getting to nurse at lunch
