I always massage when I pump. I am using an Avent double electric pump.(bought it when DD was 1mth old. DD will be 9mths on 25th feb) They only come in one standard horn size. Where I am, we do not have the medela symphony pump for rental.

Shud i invest in another pump? another brand?

While I loved my manual Avent, I'm not sure the electric ones are all that great. You might want to check out some others. That could be the source of the trauma causing these plugs.

Does your local hospital not have them for rent? Check with the NICU?

The reviews of that pump, from what I can find as it is not in the US, are almost overwhelmingly positive. There is a double electric available, so maybe they can order one?

    Medela, Ameda are worldwide.

Ask the mama you want to pump for if the NICU can suggest something.

Ordering a pump may be what you end up doing.
