    Good starter foods for BLS:
    - mashed legumes (peans, peas)
    - cheerios
    - shredded soft boiled meats
    - soft roasted or steamed vegetables, mashed or cut into small pieces
Coolest thing my big girl said recently: "How can you tell the world is moving when you are standing on it?"
Coolest thing my little girl sang recently: "I love dat one-two pupples!"

Of course now DS has learned it's fun to feed them.
You can just put a shower curtain under the highchair

Roasted sweet potato, soft cooked carrots, beans (my LO loves all kinds!)

And there really is no reason to wait on fruit.

Baby-led-weaning (BLW) is the British term for what we on this side of the pond call baby-led-solids (BLS). For the British, weaning does not mean the secession of nursing, but the addition of other sources of nutrition.
