Default HELP! Milk blisters and nipple pain!

I have 2 milk blisters on my right breast...does it lead to pain? What causes them and how do you get rid of them? I want to make sure I'm not getting a yeast infection or something, but it KILLS when he nurses on that side, at least for the first couple minutes. PLEASE HELP!!

Yes, they do hurt! Try applying a hot wash cloth (as hot as you can stand) before you breastfeed. I have also heard (but haven't tried) soaking your nipple in hot salt water before nursing helps. You should probably check with a health professional if you can't get it to clear in 24 hours. I ended up with mastisis when I didn't get on getting one taken care of fast enough.
