Default Is it too late to start?

I have a 11 week old son who came early, and only feed for 3 days. Due to over medication and a csection that took a long time to recover from my baby was supplemented in the hospital so when we got him he only took the bottle. I am wondering if it is too late to try BF again. I really want to but don't know where to start. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the forum! What you want- relactation- is possible and a lot of moms do it. You can increase milk supply at any time in your life, provided you have the right tools and are willing to do the work. You may also be able to get your baby to the breast to nurse, though there are no guarantees: some babies will go back, some won't. But you don't know what kind of baby you have unless you try.

Here are some useful links to get you started:
http://www.kellymom.com/bf/concerns/...to-breast.html (in particular, check ut the skin-to-skin and instant reward techniques mentioned)

I suggest seeking the advice of a lactation consultant, preferably an IBCLC, and also getting your hands on the best possible pump you can find, preferably a hospital-grade rental. Pumping frequently is the way to get your supply back as you coax the baby back to the breast.
